Understanding that our economy can make it tough for all families to access sport, we are proud to offer our program for free, giving kids the opportunity to run in a 2km fun run event and an interactive program for teachers based on goal setting. Jog in the Park takes place in May, at Assiniboine park, and includes a DJ, snacks, entertainment, course marshals and an inflatable arch finish line. We are thrilled to offer discounted rates for transportation via First Student, making this day as affordable as possible for schools. In addition to this, we offer free resources that were developed by Manitoba teachers who have had successful run clubs in their schools. Program supplies include progress tracking charts, certificates and information on how to build or start a run club at your school. Coaches at your school will receive Run Leader t-shirts, that they can wear to motivate kids to join.
