- Program Description -
AnnaMaria is going to start off the morning with you on practicing positive affirmations with Tai Chi and breath work. This can be done sitting in a chair or standing up. You do not need a mat or anything. Just your body and your breath.

- The 7 Pipe Laws Presentation -
This 7 Pipe Laws are about how we govern ourselves as I do and as a community and live a holistic life. Essentially, the 7 Pipe Laws are guidelines for how to live a good life- Bilmaasiziwin. This workshop will focus on wellness tools and ceremonial teachings and knowledge surrounding the 7 Pipe Laws. Each law focuses on specific wellness tools and teachings for participants to share, learn and gather new ways of coping with, healing and wellbeing practices within their life and work.

- Presenter Biographies -
Raven Hart is an Asiniskow Ithinew/Anishinaabe member of the Nisichawayasihk and White Earth Band of Chippewa. Her spirit name is Wabiske Kinew Ikwe which means White Eagle Woman in Ojibway. Raven has over 25 years of experience in program development, facilitation, youth mentorship/leadership, and social services work. She is Business Administration graduate, Action Therapist, Life Skills Coach, Facilitator, Traditional Family Parenting Facilitator, Grief and Loss specialist, Sundancer, drum carrier, lodge keeper, mother, and Kokom.

Ivana Yellowback is a member of Manto Sipi Cree Nation, and a relative to Mathias Colomb Cree Nation. She is both Asiniskow Ithinew ekwa Muskego Ininew (High Rock and Muskeg Cree). Ivana has 9+ years of experience in social services work, spanning from program development and implementation, facilitation, and workshop trainings (various), youth mentorship and leadership, and social advocacy and counselling. In the summer of 2020, she had completed her 4-year Bachelor of Arts HONOURS degree at the University of Winnipeg (4-Year Honours BA: Sociology, Minor: Conflict Resolution Studies). Ivana is currently a student within the Concentrated Bachelor of Social Work program at the University of Manitoba, with a grad year goal of June 2023. Following her second degree and convocation, Ivana plans on going directly into the Master of Social Work - Indigenous Knowledges program. She plans on continuing her work alongside Indigenous children, youth and families in building capacity and wellbeing, leadership, mentorship, trainings, and wellness, with the utilization and focus of traditional Indigenous therapeutic methodologies, and ideologies. Ivana is a Traditional Family Parenting facilitator and Indigenous Life Skills Coach. She is also an aunty, pipe carrier, lodge carrier, drum carrier and singer.
